Shefford DAA "LEARN TO FISH" Course

Saturday 7th July, 2012 (Time: 10.00 & 2.00)

A thorough introduction to stillwater angling, over 4 sessions with an optional 5th & 6th days for an introduction to other aspects of fishing.

The dates are: Sat July 7th, Sat July 21st, Sat Jul 28th, Sat Sept 15th. 2 optional extra days on Sat Sept 29th & Sat Oct 6 th.

Description:

Over 4 x 2.5 hour sessions from July to September, participants will learn how to fish a stillwater. Starting with whip and small pole fishing, through rig making, shotting, plumbing, baiting, fish handling, the Countryside Code, to rod & line fishing with skills development through the Course. The optional 5th & 6th days will be full day introductions to other aspects of angling.
Last years Course was fully subscribed and universally well received.

Event Location:

Broom Lake. Between Broom and Stanford. The entrance to the track to the lake is on the B658 Shefford - Sandy road some 500 yds SOUTH of the Broom/Southill crossroads. The lake is about a mile down the track.
