An open event for the passing public to try their hand at Sea Angling.

Description:

Passing public will be encouraged to try their hand at Sea Angling. Fully qualified and licensed coaches will be in attendance teaching the correct use of equipment. Topics such as Conservation, marine life and the Environment will also be discussed.

Roker pier Sunderland, post code SR6 0PL. Sunderland glass centre will be used during adverse weather conditions post code SR6 0GL

FISHING NORTH EAST

Is a social enterprise that will educate and Coach people of all ages regardless of social or ethnic background the benefits of Recreational Sea Angling. As well as learning how to safely and confidently be able to go Sea fishing, each pupil will also be learning about the environment, conservation, fish handling, numeracy, literacy, biology, geography. Newcomers will polish up their own personal skills without realising, Coaching pupils to better their Communication, Performance, Control, Discipline, Organisational Skills, Forward Planning, Working together with improved learning techniques and also instil Important Life Skills and Good Citizenship.

Any donations received will help to further deliver our projects throughout the whole of the North East.
