Sea Angling taster sessions Roker Pier

Passing public will be encouraged to try their hand at Sea Angling. Fully qualified and licensed coaches will be in attendance teaching the correct use of equipment. Topics such as Conservation, marine life and the Environment will also be discussed.
Merseyside County Champs

The second Merseyside Regional match will take place on Saturday 28th July 2012 at Chester Lake Fishery near Chester.
Draw begins at 9am, cafe open from 7am. Fish from 10.30am - Cadets (8-11 years) 3hrs, Juniors (12-16) 4hrs and Inters (17-20) 5hrs
Entry is £5 per Individual and £30 per Team of 6.
Team Championship
The main part of the match will be formed around a team championship consisting of teams of 6 anglers aged 12-16 years from various Angling Clubs within Merseyside. From this event a team of 8 anglers (team of six plus two subs) will be selected for an inter-county event.
If you are interested in taking part in this please contact individual clubs.
Individual Championship
Along side the team championship is an open style match for ages 8-20 with three different age groups. Cadets 8-12 Juniors 12-16 and Inters 16-20. This will not form part of the county selection, so if you wish to be considered contact a member Club (see clubs section). Please register to request a space..
