Additional Notes:
The larger lake has an average depth of 3+ foot with the majority of the swims being constructed to give firm footing when dry, they tend to get a little muddy after very heavy rain. The smaller lake is 4.5 foot deep at the bank side and over 8 foot in the middle. Once again the swims suffer muddy conditions after heavy rain

  • Women
  • Disability

Additional comments:
All ages and backgrounds welcome whether novices or inexperienced anglers.

Disability information:

Provided we have not had too much rain the grass surface on the field should bear the weight of a wheelchair. There is only a short distance to get onto the hard core path that we have recently produced. Check with organiser before making your journey

Tackle/ Bait:

Tackle / Bait provided.

Parking information:

Parallel to the kerbside and under no circumstances on the grass. This is in a residential area so please respect the locals own parking

General advice:

Wear loose suitable clothing (this is not a fashion parade) and bring some sun screen (you catch the sun far quicker close to water) and a hat. Although you will not be casting as such it is also advisable to wear sun glasses. These will have a dual use - firstly to protect the eyes in the case of flying hooks and the second obviously to protect the eyes from the suns glare off the water
