Family Fun, Games, BBQ and Fishing Competition


A one-day fishing festival, with the emphasis on getting young people interested in fly fishing and raising awareness of the natural environment. Something for all the family with food and refreshments available as well. A great family day out!

Location information:

Good signage throughout the village of Lochinver will lead you to the road up to Glencanisp. Ample parking at the event but road may be a little bumpy so please drive slowly!

Primarily aimed at getting young people into fly fishing and increasing awareness of the local natural environment.

Disability information:

The fishing competition is not particualrly accessible but the use of a boat on the loch could be arranged in advance for people with significantly reduced mobility.

All breakages must be paid for.

Parking information:

Ample parking but access road quite rough.
