A "Go Fishing" event will be held at Altnahinch Reservoir on Saturday 5 August 2017 for anyone who would like to try fishing for the first time.
The event is split into 3 sessions:
12.00 noon - 2.00pm
2.00pm - 4.00pm
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Inland Fisheries (DAERA) are hosting this event. Complimentary licences/permits are available only to first time anglers. Tuition and equipment will be offered on the day. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Inland Fisheries representatives will be in attendance to offer advice on fishing and the attractions of the Department's Public Angling Estate which offers over 70 waters across Northern Ireland including Altnahinch
Altnahinch Dam, near Loughguile, County Antrim
Altnahinch Dam is located near Loughguile, County Antrim and is situated on the edge of Slieveanorra Forest.
