A free, fun, social event aimed at giving boys and girls from 6 to 16 the chance to have a go at fishing.
Want to have a go at fishing? Want to catch the fishing bug? Then this event is for you.
Held at easily accessible Mill Dam, adjacent to Markeaton Island, this event hosted by Earl Harrington Angling Club, is aimed at giving boys and girls from 5 to 16 the chance to have a go at fishing. Everything to catch a fish and learn about fishing is provided free and our skilled and friendly volunteers will make you really welcome. You can come for the whole session or just drop in for a while. welcome. It is likely there will be fishing related, bankside games and activities as well.

Voluntary contribution towards BBQ welcome.
Friendly, skilled volunteers will be on hand to support all particpants.
