THE FESTIVALS MAIN AIM IS TO ENCOURAGE YOUNG AND NEW ANGLERS INTO THE SPORT BY PROVIDING FREE COACHING EACH DAY, TACKLE AND BAIT.
THE FESTIVAL ALSO IS ABOUT HAVING FUN AND ENJOYMENT WITHOUT COSTING A FORTUNE..

Following on from the great success we had last year we are back again.
This year we are working with Basildon & Pitsea Carnival Festival to make it a great day out for everyone.
Come and have a go for the first time or learn some new skills from our Qualified Angling Coaches. Some of who are also members of the Professional Anglers Association.
All equipment and bait is provided.
Turn up on the day, register yourself from 09:15 at the desk and be given a half hour lesson. Children also receive a goody bag. ALL FOR FREE!
We will also have pond dipping, equipment display and first aid demonstrations by a Qualified First Aider. So if you've ever wanted to know more about recovery position, how to make a sling and lots more then come along.
There is a minimum age of 5 years for the fishing.
There is a playground area, cafe and toilet on site.
Open Day at Burton Mutual Kingstanding Pools. Come along to see what we have on offer. Free have a go sessions for all ages with a licenced coach, all tackle and bait provided.
The venue consists of 2 small lakes containing 14 different species of fish. Parents are advised to bring food, a drink, suitable loose clothing and sun screen (hopefully it is going to be sunny).
Opportunity to try fishing in a match as part of the Young Anglers YOUFISH programme. Working in partnership with the Angling Trust and Nottingham Anglers Association. Pre registration is recommended as places are limited.
Introduction to fishing through both coarse fishing and fly casting open to EVERYONE!
This series of events are aimed at everyone who wants to try out fishing, and those who want to take up fishing as a hobby, with advice on clubs and fisheries where help/coaching is available.
Join us on our annual National Fishing Month fun days. Delivered by qualified coaches and volunteers, our sessions are designed to give you the opportunity to experience fishing in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
Whatever your level of skill we'll help you catch on our purpose built lake packed full of fish.
All equipment is supplied by the club, but if you want to bring your own then please feel free to do so.
Everyone who takes part will receive a certificate and momento of the day.
